Practice Model

Los Angeles Patent Group operates under a practice model whereby one of our experienced Registered Patent Attorneys handles every aspect of a client’s case from the inception of the case to its conclusion. Our experience has shown that such a practice model eliminates many of the errors, inefficiencies, and overhead that occur within traditional Partner, Associate Attorney, and Staff hierarchical practice models:

• Our clients are provided with a single point of contact that is at all times knowledgeable about the latest status of a client’s case.
• All work product is produced by a Registered Patent Attorney who has been working on a case from day one. Tasks are not delegated to unknowledgeable, inexperienced, or disinterested members of a law firm.
• Overhead is reduced by fixing fees upfront such that hourly billing fees are not incurred by multiple members of a firm (e.g., Partner, Associate, Staff, etc.) who have been delegated to perform different tasks on a case. This fixed fee approach welcomes clients to interact at all stages of the process without having to worry about incurring minute by minute telephone fees.
